Walking/Witchcraft/Wellbeing

I have several different blogs and social media profiles exploring different aspects of the way I live. I’m realising that I need to integrate them with my creative practice. Which means my creative practice is going to expand.

Walking is something I do to manage my health, both mental health and physical health. I also walk because I enjoy exploring the landscape and immersing myself in green spaces. I took long walks as a child, and without learning to drive as an adult, I walked most places I needed to get to. Public transport is something I struggle with, so if I can walk it, I will. There are theories around walking and embodiment that I want to research.

Witchcraft is a practice that is relatively new in my life. It involves harnessing energy to achieve certain outcomes. It’s also rituals and spells, which have their own function, and are known to benefit people’s sense of structure. It’s a big subject with a long history, and at the moment I’m practising it in my own way. What I’ve learned is that rituals and spells have an impact, both personally and on the world out there. I’ve witnessed strange occurrences that are only strange because I thought the world worked a certain way, and perhaps it doesn’t.

Wellbeing is an essential part of living. I practice wellbeing in the form of meditation, stretching, aromatherapy, journaling, and so forth. Sometimes the subject matter I’m working with can be quite heavy, and so practising wellbeing helps to manage that.

How will walking, witchcraft, and wellbeing become part of my creative practice? I will be creating projects around these subjects, investigating, and researching. Subscribe to receive updates on these projects and more. Thank you for reading.
