Your Support

Thank you for visiting The Weird & Wonderful World of Candice Black. An artistic career and earning an income from creative work as a freelancer are often challenging. Recent reports have found that many creatives earn less than minimum wage, and that work in the arts is precarious. Creating, publishing, and exhibiting are an honour, that hopefully provides leisure and interest to audiences. It is also resource and creative labour intensive.

Each time you visit this site, there is an opportunity to show your support. You can subscribe, for example. When you subscribe, you will receive updates on new projects, news, and other aspects of my creative practice. You could also like and share blog posts with your social networks, or follow my own social media channels. If you would like to purchase an item of art, poetry, or prose, you can either visit the shop in the menu, the Cafepress store, or the Ebay store, where original works are sold when available. If you would also like to show your support by making a small voluntary contribution, please use the QR code below.

I aim to make work that is unconventional, to address challenging subject matter, and offer creative expression. Everyone who shows support for my work, and every visitor to The Weird & Wonderful World of Candice Black, is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
